My 10 Rules of the Road

These rules are just common sense for the courteous driver.

1. If you're not going to drive 1-5 mph over the speed limit, at least drive the speed limit.


2. Travel as fast as the flow of traffic.


3. If there is someone within 100 feet of you, use your turn signal.


4. When turning right, stay to the right. When turning left, stay to the left.


5. When 2 lanes merge, alternate accordingly.


6. Extinguish cigarettes into an ashtray and not out the window.


7. If you're lost, turn your hazzards on and pull to the side of the road.


8. Remember to use the left lane of a highway for passing.


9. If you're on the highway and see a police officer already giving someone a ticket, don't slam on your brakes. He's already busy.


10. Don't be a self-centered ass. Be aware of other drivers.
